Live Assets | I.T. Staffing Solutions seeking an Accounting Support Specialist – Navision System Support who will be responsible for the successful execution of specific tasks across a range of customers in the implementation services team. The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach to work, and work well under pressure. The successful candidate must be comfortable working to tight deadlines changing priorities. This is role is focused on the Accounts Payable and General Ledger components of NAV, but will involve many other aspects of NAV functionality from time to time including Financial reporting, Consolidation, bank account setup/positive pay/ACH, external reporting tools, etc.
Responsibilities
- Perform checks of existing Navision Application in a customized NAV environment
- Support users in a NAV 2017 environment
- Document processes and enhancement into user guides
- Demonstrate/train functionality in NAV 2017
- Responsible for the continued implementation and maintenance of the on-site user functional training
- Assist with the rollout of custom and standard NAV functionality
- Testing of enhancements, process changes
- Analyze issues to determine program fault vs data entry error
- Train users on resolving issues issues for themselves
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience supporting users of an accounting system for Accounts Payable and/or General Ledger and/or job costing with financial reporting
- 1+ years experience in NAV 2013 or newer or equivalent accounting package
- Quick to learn new functionality

Beneficial Qualifications
- 1+ years experience with NAV 2017
- 1+ years experience in NAV report writing using NAV or Jet Reports or Vena
- 1+ years experience of software development beneficial
- Development experience with Microsoft development tools
- Familiarity with key database environments (SQL Server) beneficial
- Excellent presentation skills
Education
- Batchelors degree or college certificate for programming or systems analysis/support
