Job Summary
On behalf of our client, one of Canada’s largest digital marketing agencies, we are seeking for an Application Developer. The ideal candidate designs and develops application code, reports, and new modules to improve system efficiency. Ensures that software can be completely integrated into the existing systems. Collaborates closely with internal and external users via corporate projects coordinated by IT and Operations.
Skills & Responsibilities:
– Assist in preparing application documentation.
– Provide support and ensure optimal performance of the application for end users.
– Collaborate with others to identify requirements, design features and specifications.
– Maintain, Support and Develop new functionality in C# applications.
– Participate in training and demonstrations to staff.
– Identify and escalate issues in the operation and maintenance of application systems.
– Integrate external data sources and APIs.
– Maintain proficiency with the Microsoft development stack: C#, Visual Studio, .NET, MVC,
Entity Framework, SQL, Git.
– .NET 4.0+, WPF, C# application development in all phases of the SDLC.
– Strong understanding of OOP design, and agile development methodologies.
– Relational database systems (T-SQL, MySQL preferred).
– Experience integrating custom and off-the-shelf software solutions.
– Strong attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics or an equivalent
combination of education, training and experience.
– Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
– Advertising/Marketing industry experience would be an asset.
– Experience with REST, Web API, JSON an asset.
