Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer/Developer to support the implementation of a Pipeline Synchronization (CI/CD) initiative. This project focuses on pipeline standardization, deployment safety, governance, and oversight across a microservices environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Confirm project scope, finalize technical approach, and develop a detailed project plan.
  • Design and implement standardized CI/CD pipelines (using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent) for 22 microservices, including:
    • Build and test automation
    • Containerization
    • Security scanning
    • Deployment workflows
  • Implement automated deployments to development and test environments, with manual approval gates or automated promotion to production.
  • Design and implement safe deployment strategies, including blue/green and canary releases, with reliable rollback mechanisms.
  • Configure branch protection rules to prevent untested or unauthorized code merges into main branches.
  • Integrate security and compliance scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines to detect vulnerabilities prior to deployment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering:
    • Pipeline architecture
    • Deployment and rollback procedures
    • Governance and operational standards
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training on CI/CD pipeline usage, maintenance, and best practices.

 

Necessary Skills

  • 5 years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for complex systems or microservices architectures.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience building automated build, test, and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD tools.
  • 3 years of experience implementing blue/green and canary deployment strategies, including rollback procedures.
  • 3 years of experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Successful delivery of at least 2 projects within the last 5 years involving the implementation of standardized CI/CD pipelines across multiple services or applications.

 

Salary range is expected to be between:

  • Contract: $40 – $47/hr
  • Role Type: New Vacancy
