Email Deployment Specialist

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Operations, you will support the needs and business requirements for the marketing team and enable efficient digital campaign operations using technical best practices, automation and ongoing training and education.

The successful applicant will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment where timelines are often tight. Your strong problem-solving skills and your attention to detail will be critical to your success in this position.

Your responsibilities will require that you work closely with various internal departments, as well as suppliers in resolving a variety of issues. You will be expected to develop processes to increase efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the ongoing data operations and campaign management for the Marketing/Campaign Automation platform
• Be the subject matter expert on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Analyze and troubleshoot marketing campaigns to ensure adherence to platform process
• Support internal platform users to ensure campaigns are delivered within expectations
• Create/deliver campaign reports within defined service agreements
• Regularly propose and implement continual service improvement initiatives backed by thorough analysis
• Create and maintain supporting documents pertaining to platform and process
• Maintain knowledge of latest platform changes/updates and ensure communication to rest of department
• Audit platform users ensuring that the proper procedures are being followed
• Assist in overall management of marketing programs with other departments to ensure email marketing objectives are met
• Continually analyze system info ensuring proper data hygiene
• Perform platform User Accepted Testing as needed
• Support marketing automation and integration efforts
• Provide backup services for the Production Teams
• Perform other duties as required
• Ongoing review of processes to identify efficiencies

Qualifications

• Must have post-secondary education in a related field and/or experience in Marketing/Operations/Campaign Management/Asset management
• 3 years’ experience coding and delivering promotional emails
• Expert knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Intermediate/Advanced knowledge and application of SQL coding
• Intermediate experience and application of Data Models
• Proficiency in Marketing/Campaign Automation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• API development background an asset
