Primary Responsibilities
- Support and develop mission-critical applications
- Internal business application development that is based on Apache/PHP (webserver/pages language) and MySQL (database engine).
- Take on change requests, adding new features and enhancing the product further
- Perform investigation of existing application and determine the best methods to modify systems to meet business needs
- Work closely with the business, identify needs and assist in building them out
- Utilize solid coding methods including testing and documentation to produce highly reliable and maintainable applications
- Contribute to the documentation of the business processes and functions
- Contribute both technical and analytical aspects by sharing and adopting best practices

- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Highly organized and able to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and efficiently

Technical Skills Required
- Full Stack PHP programming
- Framework environment (LAMP)
- Transition from PHP5 to PHP7 for application development.
- CentOS 7.7 Linux
- MySQL 5.7 database engine / PHP 5.4 based application
- MySQL and SQL table activities such as view creation joins, and table manipulation
- A working understanding of HTML layout and design, Javascript and CSS
- SVN or other code repository management experience
- Linux bash scripting
