Job Summary

Live Assets I.T. Staffing Solutions seeking for an enthusiastic team leader to maintain, expand, and enhance our growing IT services. The ideal candidate has management experience in an IT or related department in a multi‐location corporation that depends on WAN and LAN system to conduct its business. The IT Manager will be responsible for all management level duties and reporting.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT department’s team of employees and consultants and the effectiveness of the department by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results: coaching, counseling, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage IT projects, timelines and milestones – coordinating with the affected people and departments and verifies the results of technologies implemented.
  • Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
  • Create, manage and report on allocation of annual IT budget including commercial awareness, negotiating skills and experience of managing IT suppliers.
  • Create and implement 3, 5, and 10 years, or other multi‐year technology and IT strategic plans.
  • Add new members to the team as needed – evaluate requirements and build the skill set of the team with full time, contract or outside providers where required.
  • Audit security protocols – regular checks on network and data security.
  • Continuously analyze the current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop, implement and constantly improve IT Policy and best practices.
  • Plan and implement IT/Application training for the company.
  • Run and present operations report to the senior staff.
  • Conduct regular system audits.
  • Identify learning/training opportunities for the IT team.
  • Creates, implements and tests disaster recovery plans and security policies
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state‐of‐the‐art practices, participating in professional societies.


Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Management.
  • Previously managed a team, set priorities and effectively allocated resources to meet due dates for different ongoing IT projects.
  • Great communication and political awareness, with a growth mindset.
  • Change management leader with proven process improvement capabilities.
  • Maintained/implemented an ERP.
  • Implemented Cloud‐based integration systems.
  • Performed disaster recovery.
  • Worked on a help desk and performed IT support for end users.
  • Infrastructure architecture design experience/experience setting up Windows networks / Active Directory
  • Understands the principles of different programming languages (Eg. C++, SQL, Java, HTML, VBA, etc.) and can manage software developers.
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining database systems (Ex. Microsoft SQL Server, SAP, MySQL, etc.)
  • Experience with existing technology and systems: phones (cell, desk, VoIP), wifi in remote settings, physical building security, Citrix, virtual servers, Windows server domain environment, website management considered an asset.
  • Is comfortable communicating/reporting/meeting with C level executives
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field considered an asset.
