Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions seeking a Project Manager, this is a one-year contract in Vancouver, BC. The Project Manager is expected to interact at the senior manager level, have a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last seven (7) years as a Project Manager in one or more of the following knowledge areas:
- Project Integration Management
- Project Scope Management
- Project Time Management
- Project Cost Management
- Project Quality Management
- Project Human Resource Management
- Project Communications Management
- Project Risk Management
- Project Procurement Management
Relevant Experience Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of public sector/broader public sector organizations or regulatory environments, relevant legislation, industry reporting obligations, regulatory requirements
- A minimum of ten (10) years demonstrated experience leading and managing business and IT Projects of increasing complexity and size and at least one Project with a significant component of organizational change management and ability to successfully drive completion of business and technology deliverables to schedule and budget
- Ability of monitoring and adjusting work to accomplish goals and deliver to the organization’s mandate.
- Stakeholder engagement and Relationship management – managing complex partnerships where different parties have a piece of the critical path and different levels of investment in the timelines and outcomes.

- Project Management Certification – appropriate accreditation in Project Management from a recognized body (PMP or Prince2) or an equivalent amount of experience
Relevant Capability Requirements
- Communications – Exceptional oral and written communications and the ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of stakeholders from executive to technical resources
- Demonstrated capability to develop and manage a Project and resource plan using MS Project
- Change Management experience managing change, communicating widely, handling resistance to change and facilitating implementation of successful change actions.
- Ability to identify potential risks and points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
- Issues Management – experience identifying issues and resolving them before they become critical.
