Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions seeking a Research Analyst, the ideal candidate will execute custom research projects for clients, working on thought leadership pieces, working on new business pitches, helping client service teams on ad hoc requests and managing and honing their expertise on a host of research tools.


Responsibilities:

Client

  • Day to day client contact for customized studies, with minimal supervision from Manager.
  • Ability to make presentations with clients with support from Manager, offer POV.
  • Build a relationship with clients to ensure repeat research work.
  • Working with senior members to investigate possible data sources (internal and external) to uncover and understand consumer, brand and category insights.

Project management 

  • Look after on the day to day running of projects, new business.
  • Ensure that tasks are completed on time, project status is monitored and client requests are handled.
  • Monitor status and manage project to ensure on-time completion.

Business

  • Aids Director in writing proposal for new custom research projects.
  • Work with team on new business pitches and briefs.
  • Gather marketing and media intelligence to fuel prep work for pitches, ideation sessions.

Product

  • Nurture relationships with partner agencies, evaluate and identify new tools for agency.
  • Manage invoicing for tools, ensuring finances are up-to-date for ongoing projects.
  • Assist in managing and disseminating knowledge on industry, client, consumer to rest of the organization.


Skills & Experiece: 

  • Ability to analyze data and develop meaningful conclusions and insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Solid problem solving and logical reasoning skills.
  • Superior communication skills, including writing and editing.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient in data visualization – either PowerPoint, Tableau or other data viz software.
  • Skilled in MS Office (Intermediate Excel skills required).
  • Strong time management skills – able to set and meet multiple demands within challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Bachelors’ Degree (or equivalent 4-year university degree) in a relevant discipline such as Business, Economics, Market Research, Marketing or advertising, mathematics.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in research related position, with ability to demonstrate research capabilities.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) a must.
  • Experience with the use of media research tools such as Vividata, comScore, InfoSys is highly desirable.
  • Candidates who present social and digital research skills and experience will be strongly considered for this role.
