Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Workday Implementation Project Manager for one of its non-profit clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Finance, HCM, and Payroll modules, providing expert project management guidance to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Scope, plan, and deliver project outcomes using leading tools and practices (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, Monday.com
- Identify and manage complex interdependencies between streams and key partners.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks/issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Oversee system configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live readiness.
- Manage cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and external consultants.
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Coordinate with other large-scale transformation initiatives to ensure integration and alignment.
- Ensure project activities comply with privacy legislation and cybersecurity protocols.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and data teams to ensure scalable, secure system design.
Necessary Skills
- 5–8 years of experience leading large-scale, strategic, cross-functional technology initiatives involving complex system implementations, enterprise integrations, and third-party vendors.
- 2+ years of hands-on leadership delivering Workday implementation projects.
- Experience implementing Workday Payroll and managing complex pay structures.
- Solid understanding of Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Financials, and Reporting.
- Experience working within privacy, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with unionized environments and healthcare workforce models.
- Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address issues proactively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercise sound judgment, and communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead change in complex, evolving environments.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, HR, Finance, or related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Experience in healthcare or community care settings is highly desirable.
Contract: 6 months, with possibility of extension.
This is a replacement role.
