Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Business Analyst for one of its clients. The Business Analyst will serve as the key liaison between operations, technology, and support teams, leading process analysis, requirements gathering, and business process improvements for
project initiatives.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of business case proposals and actively participate in project planning activities.
  • Document process flows, frameworks, product roadmaps, workshop results, business functional requirements and use case by working closely with the Project Manager and project team leads.
  • Lead facilitated workshops and requirements gathering sessions with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Independently or collaboratively analyze and solve complex business challenges, developing innovative solutions to enhance existing processes and drive the creation of new processes across the organization.
  • Gather, document, and organize project requirements into clear, actionable deliverables for project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactively assesses current processes, highlights, and leads process improvement strategies.
  • Track and document post-project implementation benefits and metrics related to key objective measurements.

 

 

Necessary Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or similar role.
  • Experience defining business requirements, documenting workflows, and partnering with project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving business needs and changing priorities while maintaining sound project management principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint, and Project), with the ability to create reports, documentation, presentations, and other materials to support project delivery, communication, and training.
  • Solid understanding of change and process management principles, with experience in Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies considered an asset.
  • Proven experience leading process improvement initiatives and developing stakeholder engagement strategies that drive collaboration, alignment, and business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to leverage statistical and financial modeling to support business cases, project decisions, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, apply logical reasoning, and derive insights to support business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Studies, or a related field; a Project Management certification is considered an asset.
