Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Project Manager for one of its non-profit clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data migration projects (legacy systems to modern platforms such as cloud or data warehouses).
- Oversee multiple data projects including data integration, governance, and reporting enhancements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk logs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements, data mapping, and transformation rules.
- Work closely with technical teams (Data Engineers, Analysts, Architects) to ensure successful execution.
- Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation throughout migration processes.
- Manage vendors, consultants, and third-party partners as required.
- Drive change management and user adoption within a non-profit environment.
- Provide regular project updates to leadership, including risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
Necessary Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management, with a strong focus on data-related projects.
- Proven track record of delivering data migration projects, data warehouse / BI implementations, data integration initiatives, and data governance programs.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
Salary range is expected to be between
- Contract: $75 – $105/hourly
