Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Senior SAP ABAP & Fiori Developer for one of its clients to support production operations and a major SAP S/4HANA migration and modernization program. The successful candidate will provide hands-on development, troubleshooting, integration, and application modernization expertise across SAP ABAP, Fiori/UI5, S/4HANA, CDS, RAP, and SAP Integration Suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide SAP production support and resolve technical issues across Finance, MM, PM, PS, Real Estate, and other SAP modules.
- Develop and maintain ABAP applications, reports, integrations, and Fiori applications.
- Support SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrades, and Support Package activities, including code remediation and SPAU/SPDD.
- Perform custom code remediation and modernization for S/4HANA Private Cloud.
- Support migration from PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite.
- Support migration from NetWeaver Portal to SAP Fiori Launchpad.
- Develop and optimize ABAP CDS views, reporting, and applications.
- Develop applications and services using SAP RAP and OData.
- Implement SAP extensions following Clean Core principles.
- Support data migration using a Selective Data Transition (SDT) approach.
- Work closely with City teams and the System Integrator on SAP transformation initiatives.
Required Skills
- 15+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development, including ABAP OO, debugging, and HANA performance optimization.
- 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA on-premise and/or Private Cloud experience, including at least one end-to-end implementation or conversion.
- 5+ years of SAP integration experience, including 3+ years with SAP Integration Suite.
- Hands-on SAP RAP experience with at least one end-to-end application/service.
- 5+ years of ABAP CDS Views experience.
- 2+ years of SAP extensibility and Clean Core principles.
- 4+ years of SAP Fiori/UI5 development, including Fiori Elements and freestyle UI5.
- 3+ years of Agile delivery, preferably with Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Finance/Controlling and ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- 7+ years of designing and developing custom SAP applications from the ground up using ABAP OO.
- Experience working in a Canadian municipal environment.
