Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Workday Integration Developer for one of its non-profit clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on technical expertise in Workday Financial Integration design, Workday Studio development, integration testing, issue troubleshooting, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain complex Workday integrations.
- Assess integration requirements and recommend appropriate Workday integration technologies and design patterns.
- Develop data transformations, validations, exception handling, logging and reconciliation controls.
- Configure integrations using Workday Web Services, REST and SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, SFTP, EIBs and RaaS.
- Develop and execute unit test scenarios; troubleshoot integration failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Resolve defects and support System Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing and regression testing.
- Produce technical documentation, support procedures and knowledge-transfer materials.
Necessary Skills
- Over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting Workday integrations across Payroll, Finance, and third-party applications.
- Advanced hands-on expertise in Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, REST APIs, SOAP APIs.
- Proficiency with XML, XSLT, XPath and JSON.
- Experience with SFTP, EIBs, RaaS and Workday integration security.
- Proven experience developing, testing, and maintaining integrations for Workday Financial Management.
- Strong understanding of financial data, accounting transactions, customer accounts, invoicing, general ledger or subledger processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex Workday Integration issues.
- Experience supporting formal testing, deployment and production stabilization.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Workday Integration certification.
- Workday Studio certification or equivalent hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and troubleshooting complex Workday integrations.
- Experience with high-volume financial integrations; experience integrating Workday with external operational, billing or financial systems.
- Experience contributing to large-scale Workday implementations or digital transformation programs.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar defect-management tools.
