Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring for a Subcontract Administrator for one of our clients, a Construction and Infrastructure leader in Canada, to support a dynamic, transit project in the Greater Toronto Area.
Responsibilities
The Subcontract Administrator will support the Subcontracts Director in managing commercial communications between the company and its subcontractors. This includes maintaining accurate records, assisting with formal communications, coordinating meetings, and tracking change management activities.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all contract-related communications.
- Assist and review formal agreements, including correspondence, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders.
- Draft responses to formal agreements for review and issuance.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with external partners and other stakeholders.
- Take detailed meeting minutes and track action items.
- Gather necessary commercial and technical information from various departments.
- Coordinate contractual deliverables with other departments.
- Participate in change management activities, including tracking, reporting, and resolving issues.
- Oversee the contract closeout process.
Requirements
- Experience of 1-3 years in contract management, procurement, or a related field.
- Degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, construction, supply chain management, or law.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in a construction environment is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.
