Collection and Use of your Personal Information
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to Live Assets; we may also obtain access to your resume, if you have posted it for public view on job sites like Workopolis, Monster, etc. In both cases, we collect your personal information in the process of searching for and screening candidates on behalf of employers who hire Live Assets to source suitable candidates for specific positions they are looking to fill. Accordingly, Live Assets uses your personal information strictly in relation to searching to find and match job candidates with positions our clients have commissioned us to fill.
In the course of applying for a position we advertise on our website or elsewhere, or when you send us an unsolicited resume, we collect your name, mailing address, telephone number(s), , email address, job preferences and resume. If we conduct a job interview (in person, or by phone), we may also collect additional information that you provide, related to your work history, education, etc. information (including your references), for the purpose of matching you with a particular job opportunity.
We use and maintain the information you provide to Live Assets to determine your suitability for specific job opportunities we may have available at that time, or in the future; in addition, we maintain your information in order to contact you about a specific position opening for which you have applied, or about other jobs that may meet your qualifications and work-related preferences and/or criteria.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not trade, sell or rent your personal information under any circumstances.
We do not disclose or transfer your personal information to anyone, unless authorized by you, except as otherwise stated in the Live Assets Privacy Policy, or required by law. Specifically, we do not make your information available to third parties – except to our authorized staff members and, with your consent, to employers we represent when you apply for specific job opportunities that we bring to your attention, acting as an IT staffing company on employers’ behalf.
Live Assets must however provide your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise required by law. We may also disclose your personal information, where necessary, for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

To Remove your Personal Information from our Records
If you have already provided us with your personal information and resume, and, at anytime, you decide that you no longer wish to be on our database for any reason, please email us at info@liveassets.ca with your full name and telephone number, indicating to us specifically that you want us to delete your personal information and resume from our physical files and our electronic systems and devices. We will do so immediately upon written notice and confirm to you by email the action taken.
The same applies in cases where we may contact, by email or telephone, candidates already on our database, to bring to their attention job opportunities that match their qualifications and interests. If you no longer wish to be contacted by Live Assets, please follow the exact same steps outlined in the previous paragraph, so that we delete your personal information from our records, including telephone or mail/email lists. In this case too, after we receive your respective request by email at info@liveassets.ca, we will confirm to you by email the action taken.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of personal information in our possession and control.

We welcome your constructive comments, feedback and/or suggestions as we continuously strive to improve our service to both employers and job candidates we work with. In doing so, we encourage you to also provide your name and contact information, so that we can respond in a timely fashion as required. We may utilize your input to improve our services or processes, or for future reference, unless otherwise specified by you in writing.
