Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring an Application Designer/Developer for our government client.
Responsibilities
The proponent consultant can plan and manage the technical design, development and implementation of new and/or enhanced business systems applications by:
- monitoring technical work; recommending/implementing solutions to scheduling, logistical and/or operational problems;
- ensuring involvement of all appropriate technical specialists to meet business requirements;
- lead unit, integration and system tests to evaluate development outcomes
- ensure quality control performed and monitor software development work and certify deliverables;
- plan, lead, and otherwise undertake the development of integrated proof of concept solutions, to verify emerging technologies, products, services, and methodologies, to ensure government understands technical opportunities/exposures, and to ensure deployment minimizes associated risks and threats;
- providing expert knowledge of IBM Tririga platform and its customization options, end user experience, business and reporting requirements to inform the development and testing of the IMS;
- applying knowledge of IBM Tririga data models and customized usage to support data mapping to the new IMS innovation solution currently being implemented
- develop data extracts from the legacy customized IBM Tririga platform and make extracts available to the project team when required to meet project milestones, such as User Acceptance Testing and Cutover to production, and
- supporting all customized IMB Tririga environments (production, user acceptance testing, training, etc.), data and interfaces through to cutover to production of new, complex and multi-year IMS innovation solution.
Requirements
- applied experience with IBM Tririga;
- certified training associated with system design and development;
- experience working within Provincial government IMIT policies and procedures;
- business knowledge of IBM Tririga and customization capabilities;
- technical knowledge about the data extraction process and decommissioning of legacy systems; and
- experience working with multi-year IMS application system implementation projects that are designed, developed, and delivered by third-party vendors with preference given to familiarity with the implementation of an Archibus platform.
