Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions seeking an Application Developer. The C# Developer will work closely with a team of developers and regulatory analysts with a focus on the regulatory data and business layer of large applications. The incumbent will develop and support the data product solutions which provide key information to the business layer of multiple large applications.
This position reports to the Manager, Data Content Development
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, estimate, develop, troubleshoot, debug and implement software in the existing framework, based on market and technical requirements.
- Update our repository database with data provided by our suppliers by using different methods (such as C# and SQL queries).
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of software programming experience in OOPS such as C#
- Strong SQL experience with queries
- Knowledge of bigdata
- Other Useful experience: Specification writing, ability to read different languages
Requirements:
- Asset: HTML, ASP, VB, VBScript, Oracle, GIT;
- Fluent working knowledge of English/French; Any other languages an asset;
- Strong analytical and documenting skills;
- Self-reliant (i.e. able to learn new technologies on your own, proactively look for answers instead of waiting for them).
- Interest in Machine Learning
