Job Description 

Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring for a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager – Property Handover for a temporary assignment spanning nine months (with a possibility of extension). In this role as an Assistant Manager for Property Handover, you will lead a team of Handover Coordinators to ensure the timely completion of tasks and meticulous adherence to quality standards. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing documentation handovers, coordinating with site teams, representing property requirements in meetings, and conducting site reviews. Your dedication to on-time delivery, analytical skills, and proficiency in communication and organization will be essential in successfully managing projects and promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support a team of Handover Coordinators by overseeing their activities, including:
    • Providing clear plans and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
    • Ensuring meticulous processes adhering to quality standards.
    • Distributing work evenly among team members.
  • Supervise team activities, including:
    • Creating documentation handover schedules for tracking.
    • Collaborating with site teams to verify documentation submission.
    • Confirming the completion of construction projects.
    • Engaging in coordination efforts with relevant external parties.
    • Leading property transfer working groups and offering input as needed.
    • Representing property requirements and obligations in meetings.
    • Conducting necessary site reviews and visits.
    • Promoting diversity, inclusion, and respectful environments.

 

Requirements

  • Commitment to delivering work products on schedule.
  • Proficiency in planning and organizing projects to meet goals.
  • Application of analytical skills and understanding fiscal environments.
  • Familiarity with administrative policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Effective communication across various mediums.
  • Competence with office technology and software.
  • Completion of a relevant post-secondary diploma or degree.
  • Extensive experience in property acquisition or project infrastructure.
  • Prior experience in team management is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of property-related processes, agreements, and valuation.
  • Ability to comprehend reference plans and engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with relevant software applications.
  • Strong judgement, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility for site visits as necessary.
  • Preferred possession of a Class G driver’s license.
