Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a BI Developer to join our client, one of the leading Builder Groups in GTA. Use your Power BI and SQL skills to craft engaging reports and dashboards that help people make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Work with data from various databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, etc., and cloud analytical/data warehouses.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Develop and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with best practices and standards.
Necessary Skills
- Hands-on Experience with BI Reporting platforms such as Power BI.
- Hands-on experience in C#, js, SQL, and Python.
- Database Knowledge: MS SQL, PostgreSQL.
- API/Coding Knowledge: GraphQL, REST, SOAP, REACT, Visual Studio.
- Experience developing, designing, and testing SQL solutions.
- Working Knowledge/experience in Database query optimization, Data mining for BI reporting, Web-based Interface design, and Excel Macro.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
- A degree or diploma in computer science or equivalent
