Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a BI Engineer to join our client, a leading Veterinary Provider. Put your ETL, Azure, and Power BI skills to work by crafting data solutions and reports that truly make a difference in guiding business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage ETL processes to integrate data from multiple internal and external sources into efficiently modeled datasets.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, leveraging the Azure cloud platform, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and scalability.
- Utilize BI Tools (such as Power BI) to design and maintain visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards, combining data from various sources including SQL, Azure, and internal tools.
- Present data in a clear and concise manner to enable non-technical audiences to understand complex information.
- Collaborate closely with BI analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Provide technical guidance on improving data flows, storage solutions, and reporting.
Necessary Skills
- 3+ years of experience working in a similar technical role.
- Strong proficiency in data modeling and ETL development. (SQL/Azure experience preferred).
- Advanced skills in SQL, Azure, Power BI, DAX, Power Query, OData, and the MS Office Suite of applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for data manipulation and automation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
