Live Assets | IT Solutions is hiring a Business Analyst/System Analyst, for one of its clients to join a complex P3 design and construction project team for a huge construction entity in Toronto with an opportunity for advancement.

You will be within the Operational Technology & Systems Integration Team and will report directly to the Director of Operations.

The BA will be within the Systems Integration Team and will report to the Management Intelligence Project Manager. Your primary focus will be understanding the location of all data sources and centralize reporting for construction delivery and closeout. To do this you will
need to document existing processes, create flow charts, and seek opportunities for optimization.

You will work within a team of around 4-5 people (BA, Power BI Developers) and will interact with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements for documentation, flow charts, reports, and dashboard development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the following teams and areas: SLT – Senior Leadership Team, Testing and Commissioning, Facilities, Interim Maintenance & Operations, Alignment (Stations and Stops), Systems, Communications, Safety, Close-out.
  • Help the QFM Software Implementation Team with documentation, process flows, campaigns, and training roll-outs.
  • Perform other tasks as requested for the OT and Systems Integration Team.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma related to engineering, technology, computer science, or sufficient work experience in a related field.
  • SDLC exposure
  • Systems Analysis & Design knowledge and experience
  • 5+ years work exposure in a similar role
  • Problem solving, gap analysis and recognition
  • Technically knowledgeable, exemplar communication skills (written and verbal), keen attention to detail, organized, motivated self-starter, team player.
  • Ontario G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for on-site meetings (various offices and construction trailers)
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
