Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring an IT Business Analyst Consultant- Level 1. The ideal candidate has the ability to lead multi-discipline teams in business transformation initiatives to align business systems with new business processes using application portfolio management techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assist with development of current business process architecture and solution architecture.
- Develop detailed business requirements and business process diagrams.
- Develop Responsibility Assignment (RACI) models.
- Directly support the Product Owner and Product Development resources, and ensures requirements are documented, in time frames defined by project within an Agile methodology.
- Liaise with the working group to determine requirements and document as required according to the Software Development Life Cycle or Agile deliverables or other methodology as required;
- Leads Integration with other ministries and common components.
- Assist with development of Deployment Plan documentation.
Necessary Skills
- Ability to lead multi-discipline teams in business transformation initiatives.
- Should have experience delivering at least one IM/IT project that contains business analysis and documenting business needs and technical solutions.
- 5+ years’ experience in managing effective communications with project stakeholders at all levels from diverse business units.
- Knowledge of Agile processes, software (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, etc.), and collaborative tools such as Mural or Miro.
- Should have an experience working as a Senior Business Analyst.
- 3+ Years of experience managing the quality of the delivered business solutions.
7+ years’ experience identifying, defining, modelling and documenting business needs.
- Experience with the component elements of a multi-jurisdictional commercial vehicle permitting system/solution such as routing, restriction management, and incorporation of structural engineering requirements.
- Formal education (i.e. diploma or degree) in a related business or computer science field.
- IIBA certification will be heavily weighted.
