Live Assets is hiring a Laboratory Order Set Build Consultant for our Government client. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development and implementation of critical laboratory order sets, contributing to the enhancement of healthcare services and the efficiency of healthcare systems. Necessary Skills
- Experience using Cerner DCP (Dynamic Documentation, Cerner’s clinical content management system) Tools such as the PowerPlan Tool and Order Folder Maintenance Tool. These tools are essential for managing and maintaining ordersets.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in building various types of Cerner-based Ordersets, including Single Phase PowerPlans, Multiphase PowerPlans, Minisets, and Quick Orders.
- Familiarity with the specific requirements and workflows related to lab processes such as Specimen Collection (Nurse and Lab Collect) and Transfusion Medicine in Ambulatory settings.
- Familiarity with Cerner Bedrock, a tool used for quick order build and customization within the Cerner system.
- Competence in using the Order Sentence Tool, which is used to create order sentences that define the logic and behavior of orders.
- Proficiency in the IV Builder tool, used for creating and customizing intravenous (IV) medication orders.
- Knowledge of Core Code Builder, a tool that allows for the creation and maintenance of core codes used in Cerner ordersets
