Job Description
Live Assets | Transit Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Contract Coordinator to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with excellent communication skills and proficiency in data management. This role is crucial in supporting the client’s contract management processes, handling claims, and maintaining accurate contract documentation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Contract Administrators with day-to-day activities, providing support across various contract management tasks.
  • Manage and maintain contract documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and review claim letters, demonstrating strong written communication skills.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of contractual documents, including amendments, change orders, and notices.
  • Analyze contract data using advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
  • Utilize MS Access to manage and query complex datasets related to contracts and claims.
  • Assist in the preparation of contract reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for contract administration.
  • Support the contract negotiation process by providing accurate and timely data analysis.
  • Maintain organized contract files and ensure all relevant documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Identify and flag potential issues or discrepancies in contracts for review by senior team members.
  • Continuously improve contract administration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in claim letter preparation.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and professionally formatted documents.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
  • Experience with MS Access or similar database management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Knowledge of contract law and procurement processes is a plus.
