Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is seeking a motivated ERP Support Analyst for the Municipality of Alberta. You will be providing operational and project support within a municipal organization of approximately 2000 employees.
The purpose of the role is to:
- Manage service requests (SR’s), incident, and problems within the ERP environment and other environments when the situation demands it.
- Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure major incidents and problems have been adequately resolved.
- Working with external technology service providers (vendors & consultants)
- Includes performing system upgrades, installing software, maintaining documentation, configuring software and performing software administration.
- Provide database support for IBM DB2 environments; including database administration functions, maintaining stored procedures, developing ad-hoc views and queries.
- Capture, track, and document resolution processes, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
- Communicate risks, opportunities, trends, and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
- Provide support to projects involved with ERP related changes, including ERP environment upgrades and other systems that interface with ERP systems and data.
- Develop and maintenance associated documentation related the setup, configuration, maintenance, and support of the ERP environments. Including the development of operational and administration manuals for ITS support personnel (Customer Support Centre).
- Provide value-add services that contribute to overall health and longevity of the ERP environments.
- Providing monthly operating reports on activities associated with the responsibilities listed herein.
- Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
- Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the IBM System I / DB2 environments, including database administration, software development, and scripting.
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards World environments
- Experience with municipal software solutions
