Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring an HR Management Consultant for one of our government clients. As the HR Strategic Advisor, you will be critical in providing expert guidance and strategic direction to the Project Leadership and Steering Committee throughout the procurement phase of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expert advice on HRIS (Human Resource Information System), industry best practices, and technology trends.
- Project Planning and Strategy: Contribute to the development of solid plans and strategies, identifying key procurement elements for project success.
- Vendor Evaluation and Selection: Support the evaluation of vendor proposals and provide expert guidance on vendor selection aligned with strategic goals.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborate on contract reviews to protect the organization’s interests and address key risks.
- Project Budgeting and Cost Analysis: Offer guidance on project budgeting, upfront costs, maintenance fees, and additional expenses associated with implementation, training, and support.
- Risk Assessment: Work with the Steering Committee to identify risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
Necessary Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in HR strategic advisory roles, specifically in HR transformation projects and HRIS and or ERP- HR procurement.
- In-depth knowledge of HRIS, industry trends, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels including the C-suite.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to align HRIS procurement with organizational goals and objectives.
- Experience in vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
