Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring an IT Analyst. An excellent career opportunity awaits you as we are currently hiring an IT Analyst to play a crucial role in advancing the technology solutions for our client.
The IT Analyst will work with cloud computing services in addition to on-premises computer and network hardware and software applications. They will research, install, configure, document, operate, and maintain technology solutions and products for the internal business and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive IT support services to the organization for cloud and on-premises computing platforms.
- Self-monitor, manage and respond to support tickets to ensure the proper escalation and resolution of tickets and incidents in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and research IT-related problems to drive resolution.
- Test, install and configure computing hardware, peripheral devices, and software components.
- Maintain and assist with managing various IT infrastructure, hardware, peripheral devices, applications, and system components.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and coordinate hardware repairs, software, and configuration support with vendors.
- Collaborate, liaise, and communicate with various internal and external groups (ex: consultants, vendors, etc.).
- Proactively monitor, configure, maintain, and ensure IT-related systems comply with the company’s security and privacy policies and standards.
- Document and maintain the configuration and setup of IT applications, systems, networks, and cloud applications.
- Provide orientation, guidance, assistance, and support to users on using IT equipment, applications, and services.
- Perform and monitor backup and recovery operations for data and systems and participate in related business continuity tasks and activities.
- Conduct on-site and off-site service calls and provide technical training as required.
- Participate in IT infrastructure and platform upgrades and special projects as needed.
- Engage in regular team meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with developing and reviewing IT documentation, procedures, and guidelines and promote security practices to internal and external users.
Necessary Skills
- Diploma in Computer, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Help Desk and IT support experience is required.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using strong problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of and working experience with LAN, WAN, Wireless networks and network security devices.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft applications and platforms (Office 365, Windows MS 365)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language.
- G Driver License, and own vehicle preferred.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing Platforms (Microsoft 365, Google, AWS) is considered an asset.
- CompTIA ITF+/A+/Network+, Microsoft 365 or equivalent Certification(s) would be an asset.
