Job Summary
We are looking for an IT Director, this role includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure, applications, and development of new technical solutions including AI and digital initiatives. Responsible for overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions. The overall goal being to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the company.
Skills & Responsibilities:
• Expertise in integrating technologies and methodologies to suit and enhance technology in a business environment.
• Eight or more years of senior IT management experience.
• Proven experience in leading IT planning, innovation, operations, project management and development across diverse business teams.
• Provide leadership, vision, and management to the IT organization.
• Responsible for security and privacy of the information systems, communications, and equipment.
• Responsible for the ordering, acquisition, inventorying, and disposal of hardware and software.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and providing appropriate training for IT staff.
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies.
• Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing information systems and software.
• Serve as primary contact with outside vendors in the generation of RFPs, bids, contracts, agreements.
• Develop, review, and certify all backup and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Msc/MBA would be an asset.
