Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Lab Project Manager for our government client. A lead Lab Project Manager is needed for a government client at Live Assets to work on a variety of projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Implementing large scale PathNet projects with CPOE
- Managing a cross-functional team
- Maintaining work plans and project schedules
- Managing project level issues and risks
Requirements
- Experience implementing Healthcare clinical upgrades with EHRs and CPOE rollout in large & fast paced settings.
- Project Schedule modeling with MS Project.
- Experience in implementing CPOE (PowerChart) in ambulatory as well as acute care environments. Focus is on workflows that are for pre and post analytical phases of the end to end laboratory. workflows that occur in clinics/units (outside of the laboratory department).
- Familiarity with the execution of laboratory services in healthcare settings (order entry, requisition management, specimen collection, results management) required to be effective in communications with lab stakeholders and project team members
- Experience driving transformational changes in healthcare environments working closely with physicians, nurses, clerks, ancillary department staff, and other key partners.
- Experience translating future state workflows to Cerner system designs.
- Familiar with change management/incident management processes.
- Experience with additional Oracle Cerner applications including PowerChart, PMOffice, Scheduling desirable.
