Job Summary

The scheduler is responsible for the assessment, development, and maintenance of the operational schedules to streamline shift-related data; and efficiently and equitably allocate shifts to staff according to availability. In addition, this person would provide insights to end state and would stay through implementation. This person will also be part of the change team and will report to the CFIO.

Responsibilities:

– Access and analyze operational efficiencies providing effective changes to the current scheduling system to maximize the utilization process
– Oversee the analysis of data and information and work with the organization to create reports to show gaps in the schedule and provide recommendations to close the gaps.
– Troubleshoot and revise potential scheduling problems, interdependencies, and risk
– Provide input and recommendations to Senior Management regarding scheduling conflicts/ changes
– Reporting to Senior Management with schedule related status and reports
– Facilitating and participating in program and schedule reviews
– Coordinating and consolidating schedules to ensure all detailed work plans are consistent with the organizations scheduling policies
– Maintaining accurate records/paperwork
– Excellent communications skills
– Advanced computer skills employing a variety of software applications (e.g. advanced proficiency of Word, Excel and Windows Explorer – General knowledge of PowerPoint).
– Post-secondary education in business, general administration or related field, or equivalent experience
– The candidate must have the ability to collaborate with team members, multi-task, and adapt to change.
