Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a SAS and Analytics Platform Administrator to join our Healthcare client’s team. As an integral part of our operations, this role involves providing support, maintenance, and enhancements to various technologies utilized by data scientist teams, including SAS, R, Python, Spark, EMR (Hadoop), operating on both Windows and Linux systems hosted on AWS infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer continual support to Analytical users and collaborate with Analytical Administrators to resolve SAS environment issues.
- Develop and execute training programs for R, Python, and Spark in coordination with the Analytics Techniques and Tools (ATT) team.
- Manage permissions across analytical environments (Windows, Linux, and SAS Metadata).
- Monitor logs, create automation scripts in SAS, R, and Python, and actively contribute to various projects including SAE and Analytical Toolkit Modernization project (ATM) implementations.
Necessary Skills
- Proficiency in delivering SAS 9.4 products support within a Windows server environment.
- Strong Base SAS programming skills coupled with troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience managing Technology Systems in a complex environment, including configuration, patch management, and optimization.
- Excellent multitasking skills with an aptitude for prioritization.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Innovativeness, a proactive mindset, and a penchant for staying updated on technology trends through research and formal training.
- Exposure to R and Python in a Linux environment, basic PowerShell scripting, and familiarity with AWS/cloud platforms.
