Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for one of our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for requirements gathering, planning, coordination, analysis and project management of IT Initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and work with all stakeholders and vendors to ensure a highly coordinated and effective approach to planning and implementation;
- Support other project teams and business areas within Technology and Innovation and stakeholders;
- Plan and attend regularly occurring status meetings with team members to track progress, issues, and assignment of action items;
- Manage dependencies, key milestones, and risks;
- Create and deliver presentations using Microsoft products (e.g. PowerPoint) in support of the initiative as requested by the Director, Portfolio Development;
- Prepare briefing notes using Technology and Innovation Templates and Microsoft Word as required;
- Provide assistance and expertise in reviewing and negotiating service requests with the vendor to ensure business needs are met and that Technology and Innovation is receiving good value;
- Advise the Director, Portfolio Delivery on all Technology and Innovation Project Implementation Initiatives matters as they relate to Technology and Innovation.
Necessary Skills
- 8 years of experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in house for that specific organization).
- 8 years of experience managing custom application development projects with at least 5 team members.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.
- Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
