Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a dynamic Project Manager Laboratory for our esteemed Government client. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of clinical upgrades within the healthcare sector. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in large, fast-paced settings.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Healthcare clinical upgrades, with a focus on Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) rollout, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Utilize tools like MS Project for project schedule modeling and management.
  • Implement CPOE solutions, particularly the PowerChart system, in both ambulatory and acute care environments. Emphasis is on optimizing pre and post-analytical laboratory workflows.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of laboratory services in healthcare settings, including order entry, requisition management, specimen collection, and results management. This knowledge is essential for effective communication with lab stakeholders and project team members.
  • Drive transformative changes in healthcare environments by collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, clerks, ancillary department staff, and other key partners.
  • Translate future state workflows into Cerner system designs.
  • Familiarity with change management and incident management processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Cerner applications, including PowerChart, PMOffice, and Scheduling, is highly desirable. Familiarity with Lab Information Systems is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in issue and risk management to ensure project success.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in healthcare clinical upgrades and CPOE implementations.
  • Proficiency in MS Project for project scheduling.
  • Strong background in CPOE implementation, specifically PowerChart, within ambulatory and acute care settings.
  • Knowledge of laboratory services and workflows in healthcare.
  • Expertise in driving transformative changes in healthcare environments.
  • Ability to translate future state workflows into system designs.
  • Familiarity with change management and incident management processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Cerner applications (PowerChart, PMOffice, Scheduling) is a plus.
