Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Project Manager, Level 1 to lead healthcare projects in a dynamic public sector environment. Operating at a senior level, the successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the complexities involved in managing cross-functional teams within the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize previous experience to implement healthcare projects effectively.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain detailed work plans and project schedules for optimal project organization.
- Address and manage project-level issues and risks proactively.
Necessary Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing Healthcare clinical upgrades, including EHRs and CPOE rollout, in large and fast-paced settings.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager in areas such as Project Integration Management, Project Scope Management, Time Management, etc.
- Preferably possess a PMI – Program Management Professional or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
- Proficiency in project schedule modeling using MS Project.
- Proven experience in leading the design, validation, and implementation of clinical projects.
- Track record of driving transformational changes in healthcare environments, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, clerks, and other key partners.
- Ability to translate future state workflows into Cerner system designs effectively.
- Familiarity with change management and incident management processes.
- Preferred clinician background.
