Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Project Manager for our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Sponsor, Business Owner, and the project team to establish and deliver comprehensive project management plans.
- Lead various activities throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, managing work, monitoring status, addressing risks and issues, and liaising with functional authorities to secure required resources.
- Be responsible for closing the project, conducting outcome evaluations, facilitating lessons learned reviews, and overseeing the transition to operations.
- Actively and effectively apply project management standards, methodologies, tools, and templates to develop, monitor, and track operational plans, budgets, and work plans.
- Support the setup and implementation of a governance model for the CoE.
- Provide documentation on project progress and change requirements in compliance with company corporate reporting requirements, reporting on project progress and deliverables, and producing project artifacts to convey overall project health.
Necessary Skills
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and closure of complex projects.
- Expertise in risk management and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with project management standards, methods, tools, and templates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is an asset.
