Job Description
Live Assets is looking for a highly experienced and seasoned Security Project Manager for a leading transit authority. In this critical role, you’ll be the security subject matter expert (SME), ensuring all infrastructure projects incorporate the latest security best practices. Your expertise will directly safeguard the organization’s assets, employees, and passengers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures that leverage CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the facilities and systems.
- Provide expert security advice and guidance, including best practices for CCTV deployment and operation, to internal departments and external vendors involved in the projects.
- Oversee the development and delivery of security awareness training programs that cover CCTV usage and responsible monitoring practices.
- Ensure new projects comply with relevant security regulations, including those pertaining to CCTV installation and data management.
- Manage the procurement process for security services and equipment, with a focus on selecting and implementing high-quality CCTV systems.
- Conduct security audits and assessments to identify and address potential risks, including those related to CCTV blind spots and data security.
- Collaborate with other security teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place, including effective CCTV integration.
- Lead and manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance and support on utilizing CCTV effectively.
- Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including optimizing CCTV placement and functionality.
Requirements
- A degree in security, risk management, law, or a related field.
- Experience managing large security programs and teams, with a strong understanding of CCTV systems and their role in security strategies.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- The ability to obtain a high-level security clearance.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
