Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions’ is hiring Service Design Specialists to support our government client in digitalizing employment services.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a superior level of experience, knowledge, and skills in all five Service Design areas of User Design Research, Information Architecture, Content Development, Prototyping, and Strategic Planning.
- Leads multi-discipline teams in business transformation initiatives to align specific programs and services with government digital platforms to ensure the web is best utilized as a platform for service delivery, using a citizen-focused, evidence-based approach for web and service design.
- Creates a digital service strategy and a plan to deliver on the strategy to digitally modernize the government program from the “as-is” structure to the “to-be” state.
- Addresses the organization’s executive leadership, including ADMs and Executive Directors.
- Provides mentoring on service design approaches and methodologies to team members during projects; may provide formal user experience/service design training and develop appropriate training materials.
- Provides advice, recommendations, and options; requires effectively communicating and obtaining buy-in of the strategy with executives and senior management.
Necessary Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in service design, with expertise in Design Research, Information Architecture, Content Development, Prototyping, and Strategic Planning.
- At least 5 years of experience within the last 10 years in delivering public sector service design projects, including 3 years focused on citizen-facing digital products.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in business transformation initiatives, aligning cross-government or cross-sector programs for optimal web-based service delivery.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to address and persuade executives.
- Mentoring experience in service design methodologies, with the capability to deliver formal training and develop training materials.
- Demonstrate ability to serve as the primary liaison with senior managers.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in applying gamification service design frameworks.
