Job Description
Live Assets is hiring a Senior Clinical Informaticist/Solution Architect for our healthcare client.
You will play a vital role in leading and overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Cerner solutions within healthcare organizations.
You will serve as a subject matter expert and work closely with clients to analyze their business requirements, provide strategic guidance, and ensure the successful delivery of Cerner solutions.
Your expertise in Cerner applications and technologies will be instrumental in driving project success and achieving client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Management of CPOE Workflows, including transitions of care
- This would include Outpatient to inpatient (same facility or different facility), inpatient to outpatient, etc.
- Encounter Strategies
- Ambulatory Organizer/Tracking Shells
- Orders to Scheduling
- Clinical Decision Support Tools
- Downtime
- Work Queue Monitor (nice to have experience)
- Cerner Patient Portal (nice to have experience)
- Day of Treatment Plans through different solutions (starting from Registration through to discharge).
Necessary Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strong expertise in Cerner applications, modules, and technologies, including Cerner Millennium, PowerChart, Revenue Cycle, and Clinical Documentation.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and best practices, such as HL7, HIPAA, and Meaningful Use.
- Proven experience in solution architecture, including designing and implementing complex Cerner solutions in large-scale healthcare environments.
- Solid understanding of system integration methodologies, including HL7 interfaces, data migration, and interoperability standards.
- Project management experience, including the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Clinical background in Acute/Ambulatory Care.
- 10+ years of experience in Cerner with solutions for ambulatory care.
- Experience in Cerner solutions and how they integrate into complex clinical workflows, through transitions of care (facilities and teams).
- Experience in designing complex and novel future state workflows (or custom solutions) to support clinical experience and patient care.
- Must be able to speak to the lifecycle of a CPOE workflow.
- Experience working with multi-site clients (many acute care and ambulatory care locations within one client)
