Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Service Designer Specialist- Level 1 for our government client.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading multi-discipline teams in business transformation initiatives to align cross-government and/or cross-sector programs and services with the company to ensure the web is best utilized as a platform for service delivery.
- Creating the Service Strategy and a plan to deliver on the Strategy to transform the business from the ‘as-is” structure to the “to-be” structure.
- Providing advice, recommendations and options; requires effectively communicating and obtaining buying of the Strategy and user experience approaches with executives and senior management.
- Providing mentoring on service design approaches and methodologies to team members during projects; may provide formal user experience/service design training and develop appropriate training materials.
- Demonstrating the highest level of experience, knowledge and skills in all five service areas of Design Research, Information Architecture, Content Development, Prototyping and Strategic Planning.
Necessary Skills
- 5+ years of experience producing and working with design pattern / asset libraries.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with government led decentralized identity software solutions.
- 2+ years of experience working with government led Identity management common services
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with cross-functional agile teams to understand detailed requirements and align the needs to product vision and user needs.
- Proficient in creating / re-purposing product development tools such as materials for co-design sessions, research plans, data summaries, paper or other lo-fi prototyping materials as needed to achieve results.
- Experience in leadership, communications, relationship building, and project planning skills.
- Experience with current methodologies and design thinking with a strong focus on improving services for citizens and stakeholders.
- A degree in Service Design/Digital Design/Cognitive Psychology/Market Research, a related field or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent relevant experience doing service design work.
