Sr. Business Analyst / Technical Documentation Expert

Our client, a leader in the retail space is looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Technical Documentation Expert. The role will be responsible for documenting business processes, defining detailed business requirements and working in a new exciting rollout implementation project. You will be working closely with the various IT sector’s, retail groups and design teams.

 

Key Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience within a technology related role
  • Strong documentation experience
  • Excellent negotiating and collaborating initiative
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong experience with emerging retail and online technologies and how they could be applied
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate/negotiate with various technology and business stakeholders, comfortable with asking the tough questions to ensure the success of organizational projects
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes.
  • Deliver business analysis initiative which will successfully deliver IT systems
  • Act as a business partner by understanding all business needs and acting as a consultative partner to define best in class technology solutions
  • Translate complex business challenges into business requirement artifacts including detailed user stories, process flows, and wireframes (when applicable)
  • Lead research independently to conduct cost-benefit analysis, competitive assessments, or identify industry best practices
  • Assist with the development of IT project business cases considering financial, resource, and technical constraints

 

  • Manage the business requirements change control process – and stakeholder expectations – throughout the lifecycle of a project
  • Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) effort
  • Inform key stakeholders of project status and issues through project execution, and make informed and timely decisions on their behalf (when required)
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
