Job Description
Live Assets is hiring a Technical Consultant for our client in healthcare industry to participate in the development of data pilot.
The Technical Consultant will work as part of a team including a program lead, analyst, business systems analyst, application architect, and software development staff. The Technical Consultant will provide thought leadership, direction, and hands-on expertise in the analysis, design, and implementation of the pilot technical solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direction for the overall architecture of pilot and supporting technologies including data management platforms, data access, and data storage.
- Provide architectural direction for the pilot and required architectural artifacts such as logical and physical architecture.
- Provide technical leadership to the pilot software development team.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure the solution is aligned with business requirements.
- Participate in development and execution of assessments to gather the necessary insight from the jurisdictions.
- Research, evaluate and recommend technologies for the solution.
- Provide strategic input into the evolution of data access, management, and exchange.
- Provide oral and written briefings throughout the project to appraise the Project Manager and management team as to the status of activities, challenges and project risks.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in software development projects involving data integration and exchange
- Experience as a Technical Architect or Technical Lead in at least two, multi-million dollar custom software engineering projects with a data-intensive focus from solution inception to implementation.
- Advanced understanding of Information/Data architecture concepts, patterns and standards.
- Proven experience with data integration or data exchange projects involving multiple jurisdictions and healthcare system data providers.
- Strong Analysis and design skills; excellent understanding of distributed and cloud computing concepts, microservices, RESTful web services, and usage of common design patterns.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with architecture modelling tools such as Enterprise Architect, Erwin
- Proven experience with system integrations using different integration paradigms
- Solid exposure to AWS technologies and services
Nice to have skills
- AWS Certified Architect Professional
- AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty
- AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty
- AWS Certified Developer Professional
- Experience with data exchange standards (HL7 v2, v3 RIM, CDA or FHIR)
- Experience with OMOP data standard and implementation
- Experience with business vision, strategy and roadmaps
