Job Description
Live Assets is looking for a Technical Coordinator for one of our clients, a Transit Infrastructure leader in Canada, to support a dynamic team in this complex P3 design and construction transit project in the Greater Toronto Area. This role will be within the Interim Maintenance team and is responsible for supervising subcontractors in executing transit construction and supporting site activities carried out by the transit construction and commissioning teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a comprehensive database of signage and lighting deficiencies, ensuring all issues are tracked and resolved through to completion.
  • Conducted site inspections and compiled lighting reports, including escorting consultants around various stations for in situ evaluations.
  • Address and close out any deficiencies identified during lighting inspections.
  • Oversee the installation of permanent master keyed cylinders at various locations
  • Track, address, and resolve installation deficiencies and updates.
  • Finalize and issue the As-Built Master Keying Plan.
  • Manage vendor relationships to commercially close the master keying contract.
  • Complete the review of station lighting reports
  • Coordinate and resolve deficiencies such as dark spots, ensuring the installation of new luminaires where needed.
  • Collaborate with consultants during site visits to ensure lighting levels are correct and assist with setting final dimming levels for installed luminaires.
  • Manage the closeout process for the digital signage contract, ensuring the replacement of damaged items and addressing any deficiencies.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in site coordination, preferably in lighting and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of lighting systems and signage management.
  • Familiarity with master keying systems is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in liaising with consultants and contractors.
  • Strong organizational abilities to track and resolve deficiencies efficiently.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
