Live Assets IT Staffing Solutions is currently hiring a Level 3 Technical Support Specialist for our esteemed IT service provider client. In this role, you will manage clients, toolsets, Onboarding/Offboarding processes, and handle long-term projects/requests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and identify gaps in technical and process documentation.
  • Analyze current technical designs, risks, and issues, proposing effective solutions.
  • Support advanced technologies, including core server services, Next-Generation Firewall, Virtualization & Storage, Disaster Recovery, Cloud services, VoIP Servers, VPNs, and Microsoft Office365.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructures related to LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi.
  • Develop strong relationships with vendors, technical, operations, and management teams to enhance customer service and satisfaction.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
  • Mentor junior technical staff and serve as a liaison between technical and operations teams.
  • Create and manage workflow rules within PSA software.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service delivery improvements.

Necessary Skills:

  • 8-10 years of practical experience in IT infrastructure and end-user support.
  • Strong understanding of Firewall configuration and management, expertise in at least one of the following: Sophos XG, SonicWALL, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto.
  • Thorough knowledge of network technology and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, DNS, and SSL.
  • Technical proficiency in advanced networking skills such as VLANs, Layer 3 switching, Mesh WiFi, and IPsec VPN.
  • Ability to design, install, and support server and desktop virtualization environments (VMware ESX/I, Microsoft Hyper-V).
  • Experience in installing and supporting VoIP systems, specifically Asterisk/FreePBX.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server roles and services, including Domain Controller, File & Print Server, NPS, SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in administering Desktop operating systems (MS Windows, Apple Mac OS/X) and related programs.
  • Solid understanding of Linux (Ubuntu & CentOS), iOS, and Android.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office365, Google Workspace SaaS administration.
  • Experience with Remote access tools (e.g., Datto RMM, ConnectWise) and PSA ticketing systems (e.g., AutoTask, ConnectWise, ServiceNow).
  • Administration and maintenance experience with various Disaster Recovery and Backup Solutions (e.g., Datto BCDR, Cloud to cloud backups, VEEAM, etc.).
