Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Technical Writer for one of its Clients with hands-on experience to prepare job ads, knowledge articles, workflow diagrams, training guides and tutorials designed to assist in the transition to a new Service Management suite of tools for Request fulfilment and to aid with documentation of our Standard Operating Procedures.
Necessary Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience creating workflow or flow chart diagrams for an IT Enterprise Organization.
- Experience in creating Job aids, knowledge articles, workflow diagrams and training material for IT Services Management operating procedures and processing.
- Experience to review project deliverables (documents) for organization of document is appropriate to subject matter, tone and level of complexity are suitable for audience, and grammar and punctuation enhance readability and comprehension.
- Working Knowledge of conducting user acceptance testing and information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) framework to ensure documentation aligns with our enterprise key goals to streamline IT service processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify audiences for documents and structure the documents appropriately.
- Interview subject matter experts, analyst(s), technical engineers, developers, business analysts, project managers and any other resources for input to scope and organization of materials;
- Perform copy edit on requested documentation
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
