Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with company’s Interface team, Cerner Ops, PM team managing Location rebuild schedule and build with aligning to company’s best practices.
- Test interfaces like registration/scheduling (ADT/SIU), Charges (DFT), Orders (ORM), Results (ORU), Document (MDM/ORU).
- Testing script recommendations.
- Perform regular quality assurance checks, promote and support the standardization of testing material.
- Orient both internal and client teams to Island Health’s testing end to end processes.
- Communicate with all project resources frequently and with clarity to meet deadlines.
- Create status reports that can be shared with executives and testing resources daily during events.
- Ensure team huddles take place daily during events.
- Execute build, systems testing, troubleshooting, and resolution to technical issues related to Oracle and company’s Interface schemas.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all aspects of interfacing with operating systems and bolt on vendors.
- Guide, create test patients, test the system and analyze technical issues associated with the applicable software.
- Work as part of a team, assisting team members with tasks to keep deliverables on schedule, attend regularly scheduled team scrum meetings.
- Works with vendor representative where necessary.
- Validate the Oracle Health Canadian Reference model.
- Ensuring build of interfaces meets regional clinical and non-clinical standards.
- Raise issues and risks to Project leadership.
Necessary Skills
- Experience developing testing event strategies.
- Experience testing interfaces like registration/scheduling (ADT/SIU), Charges (DFT), Orders (ORM), Results (ORU), Document (MDM/ORU).
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and a successful history in meeting deadlines.
- Coordinate execution of testing events virtually.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, ability to tailor communications to the audience and at all levels.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
