Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a User Experience Specialist for one of its government clients.
Necessary Skills
Experience with related UX Design practices and skills, including journey maps, service blueprints, personas, and developing wireframes, prototypes and, visual designs.
- Experience producing user interfaces and interaction models for digital products, including low and high-fidelity prototypes, user interface concepts, design patterns and, complete production-ready user interfaces.
- Experience providing advice, recommendations and, options for service strategies and user experience approaches for executives and senior management.
- User experience design on complex, technical projects that managed large volumes of data.
- Experience working in an agile, digital product-focused development environment with user experience teams, service designers and developers to iteratively create and improve digital products and services.
- Experience as a visual designer for web and digital applications.
- Experience designing to meet WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience mentoring on user experience and service design approaches and methodologies to team members during projects; may provide formal user experience/service design training and develop appropriate training materials.
- Ability to determine and utilize the best tools (sketching, html) to convey design concepts throughout the product lifecycle, including high and low-fidelity prototypes.
- Experience completing usability test plans, evaluating traffic patterns and studying user feedback to validate information delivery.
- Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Degree or higher in a design or technology discipline or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience gained working in a user experience capacity OR Diploma in a design or technology discipline or a related field, and 6 years or more of experience gained working in a user experience capacity.
Additional Desired Skills
- Experience working creatively within the constraints of a mandatory corporate design system.
- Experience in the use of design tools including Figma, Miro and Photoshop.
- Experience using agile project management software such as Zenhub and Github.
- Experience creating service strategies and plans to deliver on the strategies.
