But according to the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) there is an increasing difficulty in recruiting for businesses. So, what does that mean for you? SHRM’s latest report, Leading Indicators of National Employment (LINE) found that HR recruiting difficulty jumped 3.9 index points. And there is apprehension that this trend will continue to rise in the next two quarters.

However, the data doesn’t correlate to national employment statistics. According to Statistics Canada, unemployment levels are the lowest they’ve been in the last 2 years, with a low of 6.6%.
