Live Assets | I.T. Staffing Solutions is actively seeking a Business Analyst/QA Tester. Reporting to the Director of IT, the Business Analyst/QA Tester will engage in test
planning, writing test cases and scripts, test case automation and test execution prioritizing the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase of the process. By reviewing,
analyzing and evaluating user needs and business requirements, this position will create effective system solutions that support overall business strategies. The Business
Analyst/QA Tester will also be responsible for the coordination of relevant IT projects, and the documentation through to the resolution of user reported issues

Responsibilities:
– Prepare business requirement documents, user cases, user stories, and activity
diagrams to further develop technical requirements and/or functional
specifications.
– Monitor, coordinate and manage issues and system enhancements from
initiation through deployment utilizing TFS.
– Design test guidelines and standards for business processes.
– Assist in the development of automated validation scripts.
– Coordinate with development team and prepare test processes.
– Assist to identify root cause in business production and recommend resolution
of system and ticketed issues.
– Design specification for reports and provide modification as per requirement.
– Analyze processes and identify test defects and recommend appropriate
solutions for various issues.
– Manage and participate in the development and execution of projects.
– Work with SMEs and the management team to identify, manage and execute
projects.
– Organize and manage items requiring UAT.
– Support business intelligence and reporting requirements.

Requirements:
– A Degree/Diploma in a related field.
– 3-5 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
– Experience with the latest QA technologies related to their feature set or
domain.
– Experience with life cycle management tools such as TFS.
– Basic Project Management skills.
– Ability to recognize business requirements and prepare related documents.
– Experience with developing detailed functional requirements based off of the
business requirements.
– Experience with creating test requirements, test plans, test scenarios and test
scripts.
– Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork and partnering skills for cross-group
collaboration.
– Strong verbal and written communications skills for technical and non-technical
audiences.
