We are looking for an I.T. Recruiter to join, and support, our growing team.

Responsibilities and Duties

We will consider fresh grads with strong IT backgrounds, and people with no Canadian experience, but have strong recruiting in IT

The candidate must be able to effectively prioritize and close searches against strict timelines, have experience setting standards and understand how to prioritize to meet client SLAs. They are exceptional at candidate generation and account management, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate a sense of urgency.

Reporting to the Director, the Recruiter is responsible for all steps associated with the identification, placement & management of technical candidates.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Utilize all databases to identify potential candidates
  • Post job requirements on all job boards’ available
  • Develop creative recruiting resources to attract qualified professionals
  • Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline
  • Present job opportunities to qualified candidates
  • Conduct in-depth interviews, reference & background checks
  • Prepare resumes for presentation to clients
  • Lead candidates through client interview process
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management
  • Network for new business opportunities & referrals

Essentials:

  • Experience recruiting all levels of IT
  • 2+ year’s progressive recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
  • Experience with social media channels, such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Facebook.
  • Good understanding of technology
  • Strong computer skills (Windows, MS Office Suite)
  • ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
  • Related Diploma or Degree
