The role of the Business Analyst (BA) is to work closely with the team to capture, consolidate, and communicate the project-related information to the rest of IT. The BA is critical in ensuring that the business requirements are understood and met by the IT organization. The BA has the overall responsibility of supporting managers with execution post-project initiation.
Responsibilities:
– Business capability roadmap support.
– Work intake capture.
– Business case development including review and confirmation of work intake estimates – Business capability requirements elicitation & analysis.
– Support Business Process Group in business process analysis & design.
– Solution assessment & validation.
– Provide input into communications with the business.
– Keep a pulse on the newest technology innovations impacting the business.
Qualifications:
– Strong experience in creating business cases.
– Possess an understanding of technology principles and systems (background in IT considered an asset).
– Project experience from requirements elicitation to delivery with a vertical focus in the following areas: Real Estate/Properties, Auto Fuel, and introducing new capabilities into Stores.
-Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines.
– Excellent organizational skills.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
– Strong written and oral communication skills engaging the business and IT actively.
– Ability to comprehend complex concepts.
